Brow Lift (Forehead Lift)

A brow lift—sometimes called a forehead lift—is a procedure that raises the eyebrows, smoothes forehead wrinkles and age lines, and gives patients a revitalized look without the obvious signs of cosmetic surgery. A brow lift is similar to a facelift; the main difference between the two procedures is that a brow lift is used to rejuvenate the appearance of the forehead, while a facelift generally focuses on the lower jowl region.

During a brow lift, Dr. Torminn begins by placing a thin incision behind the hairline in the upper forehead. Dr. Torminn places the incision in this location to help conceal the appearance of scarring. Through this incision, he is able to remove excess skin and tissue from the forehead while tightening the underlying facial muscles. When combined with laser treatment of the wrinkles, a brow lift can help improve the overall appearance of the face. The result of the procedure is a more aesthetically pleasing, refreshed appearance free of sagging skin and forehead furrows.
